There isn't much reason to get the Costco card. The Uber Credit Card is a better no-annual-fee option for travel and restaurants, and there are a number of other options for gas. Nevertheless, if you already have this card, it's bonus category reward rates are pretty competitive, and it may currently be your best option for gas (without getting another card).

Collecting the Signup Bonus

There is none. Rather than applying directly, you could wait until you need to cancel a different Citibank card, and downgrade it to the Costco card instead. This lets you avoid an additional credit card application, and you won't be missing out on the signup bonus from the Cost card, because there is none.

Other Notable Benefits

None.
