We won't give or sell your personal information to anyone.

The site doesn't use cookies or track user information directly. But, it uses several third party services, that do.

  • We use Google Analytics to monitor how the site is used. It tracks your site usage anonymously, so that we can see how the site is being used and improve the site. Google Analytics data practices
  • Our site comments are handled by Disqus. All of the comments are stored on Disqus servers and all of your interaction with the comment system are handled directly between you and Disqus.   • Our social bookmarking capabilities are provided by AddThis. These are the little buttons that let you share our pages through several different social media services. We have access to anonymous information about what is being shared. It is possible that they could track your page loads and sharing activity across the many, many sites that use the AddThis tools.   • The site is built using the MediaWiki platform. This is the same software that Wikipedia is built on, and it is written and maintained by the Wikimedia Foundation. It creates cookies and anonymously tracks some of the activity with the site, to track your current state and remember any preferences. These cookies are not shared across multiple sites.
If you sign into the website (through the website footer), you can set up an account on our website. Unless you are planning to participate in keeping the site comprehensive and up-to-date, there is no reason to do so. But, if you do so, MediaWiki will store any personal information you provide on our servers, and other users may be able to contact you through an email address you provide.
