- With few hotels in the United States and no credit card to quickly earn points, Le Club Accor is not one of most American's popular hotel loyalty programs. Unless you travel internationally, it is mostly interesting as the reward program for the upscale Fairmont Hotels.
- Unlike most other hotel programs, Club Accor is a fixed-value points system. You can use points instead of cash, even in small quantities, to pay for some portion of your hotel room. Points are always worth about 2 cents each.
- When you stay at Club Accor, you can earn 1 Flying Blue mile for every Euro spent (on top of your Club Accor points); and you can earn 1 Club Accor point for every two Euros spent on Air France / KLM flights.
As a result, it is very easy for someone who occasionally stays in Club Accor hotels to spend the points they earn.
Club Accor Brands
Accor hotels is one of the largest hotel chains in the world and is particularly strong in much of Europe. And they have brought many independent hotel companies into the program. However, they don't operate very many hotels in the United States.
Award Chart
The Accor Points program uses fixed value points. When you make a reservation, you can use 2,000 points to get 40 euros off the room rate. This equates to points being worth about 2 cents each.
- You might as well use any available points on any reservation. With no ability to get a better-than-normal redemption, there is no reason to hold onto your points.
- Another decent way to use your Accor points is to transfer them to Finnair, Qantas, or Virgin Australia. Accor normally gives you .5 airline miles for every point, which works out to about 4 cents per mile. But, with the airline partners listed above, you get 1 mile per point instead, letting you buy miles for 2 cents each.
Earning Points
- Members usually earn 2.5 points per Euro spent at most of the program's hotels (or about 5 cents per dollar). Stays at Ibis and Mama Shelter only earn 1.25 points per Euro, stays at Adagio, Mantra, Peppers, BreakFree, and Art Series only earn 1 point per Euro, and stays at Adagio Access only earn .5 point per Euro.
- Accor has a shopping portal where you can earn Accor points on your online purchases from many different merchants. Earn extra rewards using Shopping Portals.
- You can earn Accor points, in addition for Flying Blue miles, for your Flying Blue flights. If you signup for their Miles + Points partnership, you'll earn 1 reward point for every 2 euros you spend on flights.
- You can transfer Capital One Venture points to Accor. You'll get 1,000 Accor points for every 2,000 Venture points you transfer. Since Accor points are worth a little more than 1 cent each, this is slightly more valuable than using your points to purchase other types of travel (but you'll miss out on the extra points you would have earned with a regular hotel reservation).
- If you don't earn points from a stay, your points will expire in 12 months. Other point earning activities tend to reset the clock, but don't qualify according to the official terms.
Silver, Gold, and Platinum members earn 25%, 50%, or 75% bonus points on stays.

Member Benefits
